U-M Club of Greater Chicago: Get Involved

Become An Alumni Student Recruiter

Alumni volunteers can give back to the University and share their U-M pride and loyalty by encouraging academically talented students to apply to and attend the University. As an Alumni Student Recruiter, you provide the one-on-one interaction, personal attention, and encouragement that can make the difference between a student in your community choosing Michigan or another school.

Programming

Our Club strives to deliver a well-balanced assortment of programming that is engaging and appealing to alumni of all ages, interests, and backgrounds to reflect our diverse member base. Check our Events page for upcoming Club activities.

Getting Involved In Club Leadership

Looking to get involved as a volunteer club leader? At the beginning of each year, we solicit applications for new members to our Board of Directors, with preference given to presently active participants. The chosen applicants are officially appointed to our Board at our Club’s annual meeting in the Spring. A great first step to get involved with our Club is attending our club activities, introducing yourself to our club leaders, and offering your assistance at future events. You can also email us at [email protected] if you are interested in volunteering, or if you have any other questions about becoming involved.
