Just south of Petoskey, along beautiful Walloon Lake, sits Camp Michigania, the home away from home for Michigan alums and their families.
This October, join us for Walloween, a family-oriented weekend getaway that promises to get you in the Halloween spirit. This spooktacular event includes lodging and meals and is packed with various activities for all ages, including Michigania classics like archery, rock polishing, boat rides, and hikes. There’s also a host of Walloween-specific activities, such as a haunted hayride, Halloween dance, costume contest, pumpkin carving, and of course, trick-or-treating.

• First person: $595
• Each additional camper: $495
*This event is open to families (there will be no cost or programming for children under the age of 3). Every adult over the age of 18 who is not currently enrolled in a college or university must be a current member of the Alumni Association prior to attending. Additional fees may apply.
You must be a member of the Alumni Association to submit an application. Due to high demand, a lottery may be utilized for applications received by Sept. 1, and all applicants will be notified of the results by Sept. 15. For applications received after Sept. 1, confirmations will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
Applications received within 10 days of the start of the program will be waitlisted, and you will be contacted if we can make accommodations.
If you are not able to attend, you must submit your cancellation by email. If you cancel your application 14 or more days before the start of the event, you will receive a full refund, less a $50 processing fee. If you cancel less than 14 days, your fees will be forfeited.

Archery
Test your aim at our archery range. Lessons are available for campers of all ages.
Boat and Trail Rides
Take in the beautiful sights of Walloon Lake and the nature of Michigania.
Campfires
Campfire locations include lakeside or in a clearing in the woods. You bring the conversation, and we’ll provide the s’mores!
Ceramics, Arts, and Crafts
Create Halloween-themed artwork and mementos of your time at Michigania.
Family Games & Tournaments
The Activity Room in the Education Center offers a home for family game nights and board-game/card tournaments. Games and cards may also be checked out for use in your cabin.
Guided Hikes
Explore Michigania on a guided hike that will take you to different beautiful camp locales.
Halloween-Themed Events
Enjoy the scenery of camp on a haunted hayride, and show off your Halloween spirit with a costume contest and pumpkin carving. A Halloween dance and trick-or-treating are also on the itinerary during this getaway.
Horseback Riding
With our pack of horses and lessons for all levels of ability, enjoy a recreational ride or hit the trails.
Rock Polishing
Find a Petoskey Stone around camp or bring a rock with you and take it to our nature center to enhance its beauty.
