- Christa Hayden – My name is Christa Hayden. I am a junior at the University of Michigan majoring in Communications and graduating in 2027. I used to compete on the Division I soccer team here, and maintained a 3.7 GPA, while balancing the demands of collegiate athletics and academics. I was honored to be named an Academic All-American during my freshman year, which reflects my commitment to excellence both on the field and in the classroom. I medically retired during my junior year. Through my studies and experiences as a student athlete, I’ve developed a strong work ethic, discipline, and a passion for building relationships and communicating effectively. I am currently seeking internship opportunities in pharmaceutical or medical device sales, where I can combine my interest in healthcare with my communication and teamwork skills. - Naya Seligson – Hi! I’m a Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology major with a minor in Medical Anthropology, graduating in 2028 and pursuing a pre-med track. I’ve had the incredible opportunity to explore my passion for surgery through my participation in Dana Hills’ Health and Medical Occupations Academy as well as various internships, including a cardio-thoracic surgery one at Stanford, Rady’s Children’s Hospital, and general surgery one at Kaiser Permanente. In turn, I had the opportunity to virtually intern in Ghana and Honduras through a Global Brigade. At the University of Michigan, I am a member of the co-ed premedical fraternity Phi-Chi, an emerging leader for Dance Marathon, and mentor younger students through College Mentor for Kids, which has been incredibly fulfilling. I’m currently looking for internships and research opportunities in the medical field and am open to any specialty! I am highly interested in surgery, especially pediatric and cardio-thoracic. - Jordan Schneider – I am a student-athlete and a recent graduate of the University of Michigan College of Literature, Science, and the Arts, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. I will continue my education at Stephen M. Ross School of Business as a Master of Business Analytics (MBA) student, where I look forward to further developing my skills in data analysis, strategy, and business decision-making. At Michigan, I am a member of the Women’s Water Polo Team and have been honored as an ACWPC All-Academic Award recipient and Academic All-Big Ten student-athlete. Balancing Division I athletics and academics has strengthened my leadership, discipline, teamwork, and ability to perform in fast-paced environments. Through my athletic experience, coursework, and business-related projects, I have developed a strong interest in business analytics, finance, strategy, and sports business. I have gained hands-on experience in sales, SEO strategy, sponsorship research, coaching, and customer service, all of which have helped me build strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills. Most recently, I worked on a sponsorship strategy project for a professional hockey league, analyzing league regulations and media rights to identify opportunities for commercial growth. During my time at Michigan, I was also a scholarship gymnast, and after having to medically retire, I was a coxswain on the Men’s Rowing Team. Professionally, I have worked in sales and marketing roles in the tech industry, automotive industry and insurance industry (broker). I have also done a lot of work in the film production industry as a production coordinator and assistant director for a-list music artists. I am looking to move away from the film industry and into a corporate HR, Operations or Marketing role. I am also interested in sales positions or even a dual role.
