Camp Michigania Community Agreement

PLEASE READ THIS DOCUMENT CAREFULLY!
Michigania is a family camp, and all campers and staff comprise a supportive and encouraging community. We ask that everyone treat each other with courtesy and respect. We welcome campers and staff from all backgrounds, and we want everyone in this community to feel welcome to be themselves and have the absolute best time of their year. Please have fun, please be safe, and please lead with kindness. As the primary camper on your account, everyone in your family/party, and any guests that come to camp, must agree to the following:

To adhere to all safety guidelines and rules of Michigania
To follow the direction and instruction of Michigania staff as it pertains to Michigania programs and policies
To not use demeaning, derogatory, or abusive language to staff or fellow campers
To bring unresolved disagreements or issues that impact you or other camper or staff experiences to the camp administration for the facilitation of restorative solutions.
To bring any behaviors that you have observed to be damaging or harmful to campers or staff to the attention of the camp administration
To assume positive intent from staff and other campers and do your best to lead with kindness and understanding.

By signing this agreement, you and your family/party and any guests agree to the community guidelines outlined here and understand that violation of these community standards may result in you and/or members of your party and/or guests being asked to leave Michigania and may impact your ability to return.
