I am a culinary adventurer, a beekeeper, and I love to dance.
I teach ceramics studio courses and am primarily interested in the ceramics of Italy. I have lived in Italy and return periodically to teach and conduct research.
It’s been many years since I visited Sicily’s ceramics centers, and since traveling to Puglia five years ago, I am increasingly interested in the ceramics and culture of southern Italy. Having lectured, written, and published on the subject of northern Italian ceramics, I would like to know Sicily and its ceramics and culture as well as I do the north.
