I teach business law and business ethics courses. My recent courses include Law of Business Organizations; Cross-Cultural Negotiations; Legal Aspects of Entrepreneurship; Data Privacy, Ethics, and Security; and an International Immersion course taking students abroad to learn about business in another part of the world (most recently, Argentina). My research interests are primarily in corporate law (including insider trading and fiduciary duties of corporate leadership) and in pathways for women to attain positions of organizational leadership.
I have visited both Spain and Portugal in the past, primarily for academic conferences. I’m excited to be traveling with our esteemed alumni – learning about their professional and personal journeys, and becoming more immersed in the Spanish and Portuguese culture. My previous visits to these countries were fascinating – particularly in learning about the culture, architecture and food.
