I am a space scientist and engineer that studies how the sun influences the space environment of Earth and our technological systems. I teach first-year introductory space science courses to non-majors. I build scientific instruments that fly on satellites and are deployed around the world.
Total solar eclipses are one of the natural wonders of the universe that everyone should witness at least once in their life. I look forward to sharing the experience with U-M alumni and providing opportunities to learn more about how the sun influences life and society on Earth.
