Jacalyn, ’97, and Kenneth Bishop, ’93, stand more than 12,500 feet above sea level on Isla Suasi in the waters of Lake Titicaca, Peru.

In July, Bruce, DDS’89, Amy, and daughter Morgan Vande Berg toured Tanzania, including a scenic stop in Tarangire National Park.

Michael J. Choco, ’00, and Heather Kent, ’00, toured greater Europe with their twin sons, one of whom left a compelling message on the beach of Ispica, Sicily. Go Blue, indeed!

Bob, ’76, and Gabbi Crum get their tour guide, Willy, into the Michigan spirit at the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania.

Horseback is a great way to see Glacier National Park in Montana, as Cedric, MBA’07, and Delphine Duclos found out near Dancing Lady Mountain.

Dave Horning, ’50, MD’53, MDRES’58, and Mary K. White, ’58, spent part of February cruising on a sailboat in the British Virgin Islands.

Rhody, ’54, and Bertha Nornberg, ’54, (front) met in Ann Arbor and married in St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Alan, MA’77, PhD’80, and Trina Ryan visited Budapest, Hungary, to see the city and view the Danube River in July.

Nathan, ’96, and Rebecca Smith, ’96, took their children, Emma and Sam, on a partly camel-driven trip to Australia’s Uluru/Ayers Rock in June.

Steve Soper, ’77, MD’81, Ann Soper, MSW’80, their son Josh Soper, ’06, and Kate Dillon, ’06, enjoyed a long-awaited trip to Oregon’s Crater Lake in August. Their visit included a hike up the neighboring Mount Scott, the highest peak near the lake. No rivers or streams run into or out of Crater Lake, resulting in immaculate water quality.

In August, Michael D. Soronen, MD’69, (left) and Thomas E. O’Brien, PHARMD’69, took time to see the Eiffel Tower in Paris.
