Michigan local officials are reporting alarm at the lack of housing options across the state. The results of the 2023 Michigan Public Policy Survey showed a staggering increase in concerned respondents when compared to the 2017 wave of the study. This sentiment is echoed across the state with concerns that include single-family homes and multi-family units and cut across affordable, entry-level, and mid-level housing availability.
