In celebration of Black History Month, the University of Michigan Symphony Band will perform a program featuring Black artists and composers, to honor the community, tragedy, injustice, and celebration inherent to Black history in America and beyond. Works by Florence Price, George Walker, and Samuel Coleridge-Taylor, will be featured along with works by living Black composers at this can’t-miss event.

This event is free and open to the public. No tickets are required.
