A proud University of Michigan graduate, Class of 2009, Vlad is originally from Houston, Texas, and relocated to Phoenix nearly two years ago. Professionally, he is an accomplished marketing leader in the technology industry, bringing valuable experience in strategic planning, business development, and organizational leadership.
Vlad’s time at the University of Michigan was nothing short of extraordinary, leaving a lasting impression on him both personally and professionally. His connection to Michigan extends far beyond earning a degree; it represents a lifelong commitment to a remarkable community built on shared experiences, enduring traditions, and an unmistakable sense of Wolverine pride.
After relocating to Arizona, Vlad began attending Michigan alumni events throughout the Valley, where he was inspired by the Phoenix Chapter’s welcoming atmosphere, dedicated leadership, and commitment to fostering meaningful connections among alumni. Those experiences motivated him to become more actively involved and ultimately pursue a leadership position within the organization.

I had the most unbelievable experience attending the University of Michigan, and it’s truly an honor to be part of such a special community. Being a Wolverine is something I carry with immense pride, and I’ve come to appreciate how those connections extend well beyond Ann Arbor.
After attending several Michigan alumni events here in Phoenix, I was genuinely impressed by the organization, the people, and the dedication to bringing our alumni community together. It inspired me to take the next step and become more involved.
As Co-Vice President, I’m excited to bring my business background, marketing expertise, and leadership experience to the board. I look forward to building on the chapter’s success, strengthening connections among fellow Wolverines, and helping create meaningful experiences that keep the Michigan spirit alive here in Arizona.
