A proud recent graduate of the University of Michigan, Avery earned her Bachelor of Science in Public Health Sciences in May 2026. Her time in Ann Arbor was defined by academic growth, meaningful relationships, and an enduring appreciation for the traditions and community that make Michigan so special.
Originally from Phoenix, Avery has returned to her hometown as she prepares for the next chapter of her academic and professional journey: pursuing a career in medicine. As she navigates the medical school application process, she is eager to remain engaged with the Michigan alumni network and contribute to the vibrant Wolverine community throughout the Valley.
Bringing a fresh perspective, enthusiasm, and a passion for connecting people, Avery looks forward to building relationships across generations of Michigan alumni, supporting chapter initiatives, and helping foster the same sense of belonging that made her undergraduate experience so memorable.

My time at the University of Michigan shaped me in more ways than I could have ever imagined. From the incredible faculty who challenged and inspired me to the lifelong friendships I formed and the unmistakable energy of Ann Arbor, Michigan gave me so much more than an education. It gave me a community I will always be proud to call my own.
As a Phoenix native, returning home after graduation has made me especially excited to discover just how far the Michigan spirit extends beyond campus. While I prepare for medical school and the next chapter of my journey, I want to stay connected to the people, traditions, and opportunities that made my undergraduate experience so meaningful.
For me, being a Wolverine means carrying that sense of pride, connection, and community wherever life takes me. I’m excited to meet fellow alumni, become more involved in the Phoenix Chapter, and help create opportunities for Wolverines of all generations to connect.
