	Thank you to the U-M Alumni Club of Silicon Valley for their generous support! Especially with the challenges of the pandemic, it means so much to know I have a community of Michigan alumni cheering me on from home in Silicon Valley. The last three years at Michigan have given me so much opportunity, learning, and friendship. I’m honored to receive this scholarship as I look forward to one more wonderful year. 	I would like to thank the U-M Alumni Club of Silicon Valley for their generosity and immense support. It’s an honor to be recognized, and I’m grateful for this opportunity to pursue my aspirations in the field of computing. Despite studying entirely from home in this past year, I’ve felt embraced and welcomed by the U-M community, and this scholarship is yet another example of how I am not alone during these strange times. I was able to take ambitious coursework led by world-renowned professors, and join extracurricular clubs where I met other like-minded peers and individuals while gaining hands-on experience. I can’t wait to come on campus this fall and form new memories and relationships that will last beyond my four years at the University of Michigan. Go Blue! – Aman

	I cannot begin to express how grateful I am for the generous scholarship from the Silicon Valley Alumni Club. I feel so fortunate for all of the opportunities I have been afforded at Michigan in just my first year. While my experience has been unusual due to the COVID19 outbreak, this gift will allow me to continue to pursue my passions on campus during my remaining three years. I was thrilled to learn of my selection for this honor and am deeply appreciative of the support. In a climate such as the one we are in now with COVID19, this community continuously showcases a strong support network for fellow Wolverines. As I grow both academically and personally, UMich continues to teach me skills well beyond the classroom setting. From learning specific pathways in cell science to struggling through brutal winter storms, I’ve found that support from the alumni and peers is the best way to enjoy and create memories as a Michigan undergrad. 	It is an honor to receive this scholarship from the U of M Alumni Club of Silicon Valley. My first year at U of M was better than I could ever imagine, and I loved every aspect of it. 	It is with great gratitude that I thank the U-M Alumni Club of Silicon Valley for this scholarship! My first year at this out-of-state university has proven to be worth every penny, due to the myriad opportunities that it presents to its vast population of students. My dream of becoming a sports medicine physician is becoming more of a reality with each course that I take through U-M’s unique School of Kinesiology, and this would not be possible without the generous donations made by the club members. This scholarship has given me the opportunity to come out from California and really experience what this school has to offer me for four years as well as beyond. It was truly a right decision to come here, and I thank the club and your donations for making it possible.

I am incredibly grateful for the support and initial opportunity offered by the U-M Alumni Club of Silicon Valley through its annual scholarship. I would like to thank everyone very much for selecting me as a recipient of this generous gift! As a junior now at the University, I am a student of the very first class of the new Bachelor’s of Science in Information program through the School of Information. The kindness of the alumni community in its lasting legacy of contributing to the Michigan difference consistently amazes me as a part of an upcoming generation of the leaders and best. This award is significant in helping me go after and balance all of my activities and schoolwork as a member of the Michigan Marching Band in particular, because there is never a shortage of unparalleled opportunities at this institution. I am so honored and thrilled for this opportunity to be able to use this scholarship to further pursue my academic and social interests as I enter my junior year at U-M.
