Community Service Opportunities

The club also supports the local community through service projects such as Treat the Troops cookie project, Boys & Girls Club Pedal 4 Kids fundraiser & service projects, tutoring, and more. Here are some community service opportunities – please join us!

Hilton Head Boys & Girls Club: Volunteers are needed to help with tutoring, reading program (reading with a child), etc. You have all the skills and heart needed to make a tremendous difference in the life of a child! If interested, please contact Bill Raisch, 843.671.2953 or [email protected].

Hilton Head Heroes’ mission is to bring families with a child suffering from a life-threatening illness to Hilton Head for a resort vacation, staying in the Hilton Head Hero House located in Sea Pines. Host families are needed to greet Hero families when they arrive in Hilton Head and serve as their contact during their week’s stay. If you are interested, please contact Jan Raisch (843.671.2953).

Boys & Girls Club Thanksgiving Dinner Project: Every year club members volunteer to serve Thanksgiving dinner at the Hilton Head Boys & Girls Club to B&G Club members and their families the week before Thanksgiving. This has been a very successful community service project, serving dinner to more than 300 club members and families.
