On Sunday, August 20th, the U of M Club of Fort Wayne hosted their annual Student Recognition and Send-Off Picnic. The event was great success, as we were able to honor our incoming Fackler scholarship winners, Sofia Vazquez and Curry Jackson, and to recognize some of our current U of M students, including Reganne Ackmann (Sophomore, LSA) and former scholarship winners Emily Li (Junior, LSA) and Angela Lee (2nd year, College of Pharmacy). We enjoyed meeting their families and catching up with a few of our long-standing and more recent alumni on a beautiful sunny day signaling the end of summer and the beginning of an exciting school year!
