I, the undersigned, acknowledge and agree that I must review and sign this Agreement if I want to bring watercraft to Michigania. I acknowledge and agree that, in return for permission to bring, store, launch, or use my watercraft at Michigania, I must abide by all Michigania rules and the directives of Michigania staff, including the directive to remove the watercraft from Michigania. I understand that I am fully responsible for my watercraft and that Michigania and the University of Michigan are not responsible for its condition, use, and safety. I acknowledge and agree that I assume all risk of damage, injury, death, and liability associated with the presence or use of my watercraft, by me, or by others, including death, damage, or injury to me, people who accompany me, or third parties. I also acknowledge that I may obtain liability or other insurance to protect myself if I so choose. I agree to release, save, hold harmless, and indemnify Michigania and the Regents of the University of Michigan as well as their board, employees, agents, successors, assigns, affiliates, and anyone else associated with them, from any and all claims, demands, or damages, including costs, interest, and attorney’s fees, which they may suffer or incur as a result of any claims, demands, or lawsuits arising out of the use or presence of my watercraft.
