The U-M Alumni Club of Silicon Valley would like to congratulate you on being a vital part of the U-M family. We know that many outside obstacles can distract you from the necessary concentration to succeed at the University of Michigan. For that reason, we offer limited scholarships for students who meet the following criteria:
- Must be a returning undergraduate student (sophomore, junior, senior).
- Must be from the Silicon Valley Region (San Mateo County, Santa Clara County, Alameda County resident).
- Must be regisered/registering for full time classes at UM in the upcoming fall semester.
May 2025 Update: We are in the process of organizing our scholarship application packet at this time. If you are interested in applying, please check back on this page in June for more information. If you are an Alumni who is interested in becoming a scholarship reader volunteer to review applications, please email: [email protected]
These scholarships support undergraduate students from the Silicon Valley region who embody the Michigan spirit and show strong academic and personal achievement. Eligible students must have a permanent Silicon Valley address, be entering their sophomore, junior, or senior year, and have received an application invitation email. Prior winners are not eligible to reapply, and scholarships do not automatically renew. Awards are determined solely by the U-M Alumni Club of Silicon Valley Scholarship Committee.
