In February 2025, the Special Collections Research Center is hosting a themed Third Thursday event exploring the rivalry between cows and horses, showcasing rare books and archival materials, including Islamic manuscripts, postcards, and children’s literature. Visitors can enjoy light refreshments while exploring unique collections and collect stamps for a chance to win a prize by attending three different open house events across the library.
This event is free and open to the public.
