Family Fall Colors
This family-friendly version of our Fall Colors program is perfect for Wolverines of all ages. Enjoy traditional Camp Michigania activities, all set against a backdrop of vibrant fall foliage.
Just south of Petoskey, along beautiful Walloon Lake, sits Camp Michigania, the home away from home for Michigan alums and their families.
This program includes lodging in heated cabins, meals, and activities and is open to Wolverines of all ages, offering a memorable getaway in beautiful northern Michigan. Embrace autumn like never before by exploring scenic trails on a guided hike, trying your hand at archery, or gathering around a lakeside or woodland campfire with s’mores.
Oct. 8-11 (Thursday-Sunday)
• First adult: $700 $650
• Each additional adult: $600 $550
• Each child (3-17): $525
• First adult: $805 $755
• Each additional camper: $725 $675
*This event is open to families on a first-come, first-served basis, limited to the first 72 participants. Additional fees may apply. There is no cost or programming for children under the age of 3. Save $50 with early-bird pricing until Sept. 8.

Archery
Test your aim at our archery range. Lessons are available.
Boating
Relax and enjoy a scenic guided pontoon ride on Walloon Lake.
Campfires
Campfire locations include lakeside or in a clearing in the woods. You bring the conversation, and we’ll provide the s’mores!
Ceramics, Arts, and Crafts
Create stunning artwork, thoughtful gifts, and mementos of your time at Michigania.
Family Games and Tournaments
The Activity Room in the Education Center offers a home for family game nights and board-game/card tournaments. Games and cards may also be checked out for use in your cabin.
Guided Hikes
Explore Michigania on a guided hike that will take you to different beautiful camp locales.
Horseback Riding
Due to construction, riding will not be available for fall 2026 programs.
Rock Polishing
Find a Petoskey Stone around camp or bring a rock with you and take it to our nature center to enhance its beauty.
