I was previously an elementary school teacher and my first teaching position was in the Marshall Islands on a small island called Kwajelein. It was a truly amazing experience.
I currently serve as the Associate Dean and Director of Graduate Programs in the College of Education, Health, & Human Services on the University of Michigan-Dearborn campus. I’m also a Professor of Learning technologies. I teach courses that focus on the integration of technology in different learning settings. My research interests include the gamification of learning, technology integration, teacher development, and the use of AI in educational settings.
