I was the first female national president of Kappa Kappa Psi, the national honorary band fraternity. I spend much of my time when not at my professional appointment working with college bands across the nation to develop leadership at the faculty and student level.
I teach in the Center for the Study of Higher and Postsecondary Education, a graduate program, focusing on program evaluation and research. My research focus areas are generational theory, hazing, leadership development, and adoption of innovative teaching strategies.
