Special events coordinator, University Musical Society

U-M Role

As the event manager with the University Musical Society, working closely with development and the president’s office, I curate events across campus venues that bring people together around meaningful experiences — warmly, professionally, and with an eye for the elements that make things feel effortless. My expertise lies in bringing an aesthetic vision to life, managing intricate logistics, and ensuring impeccable customer service. With a strong background in program design and process planning, I bring a meticulous eye for detail to every project. I am interested in all performing arts genres and am considering collaborations with University units to strengthen our partnerships with the University community.

What Excites You About the Trip?

Because I have been to Greece many times and have a deep love for Mediterranean life, I am excited to share my knowledge of the region’s extraordinary beauty, the layers of historical significance in its sites, and the hidden gems of Hellenic life that will delight and surprise new travelers. The itinerary is fantastic! I have visited several of the historical sites and mainland attractions on this tour, and some will be new to me. With comfortable language proficiency and familiarity, I can offer good ideas for what not-to-miss experiences, where to stand for the best photos, and which menu items are flavorful favorites. If there is free time between scheduled events, I would enjoy taking tour guests to local places to experience true Greek homeland Philotimo.
