Fun fact

I was the first female National President of Kappa Kappa Psi National Honorary Band Fraternity. I still volunteer at local and national levels. I love college band!

U-M Role

Within CRLT, I lead the group of teaching consultants who work with instructors in all 19 colleges on teaching and learning. I also teach in the Center for Higher and Postsecondary Education, focused on research methods, assessment, and program evaluation. My research interests are on generational theory, hazing behavior, and student leadership development. I work extensively with college bands across the country (and with the Michigan Marching Band) in those areas.

Trip Experience

I’m really excited about seeing some of the artistry (both in visual arts and in architecture) and in enjoying the culture.
