U-M Role

I have been in university administration for the past several decades on the Flint campus. I could speak to the similarities and differences of the Flint and Ann Arbor campuses, or what the role of the dean is like. My academic research focused on exercise and multiple sclerosis. I currently serve as board president of a charitable corporation in Flint focused on affordable housing for seniors. I am also working on workforce development in the health field. I could speak to any of these.

What Excites You About the Trip?

I love Amsterdam and have been there several times. The area is so rich with history and beauty. Traveling there in April and seeing the tulips would be fabulous (I was not there during tulip time on my past trips). My husband and I love traveling on a riverboat, and he has not been to the Netherlands — I would look forward to sharing the experience with him and other alumni — it is always exciting to learn new things while meeting new people.
