For the 2016 holiday season, Matthew W. Turner, ’97, and Lorianne Stehouwer Turner, ’97, traveled throughout India, including a visit to Humayun’s Tomb in Delhi. Matthew first studied Humayun’s tomb and other Indian architectural sites in an art history class at U of M—a trip 20 years in the making!

Jaime Schneider, ’03, and Aaron Harris, MBA’06, MS’06, were married on October 15, 2016 in North Brunswick, N.J. The couple picked a "bye" football week to get hitched!

On December 29, 2016, Marvin E. Parent, ’62, had a chance encounter with Prashant Mahajan, a professor of emergency medicine at the C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital of Michigan, in the town of Erfoud, Morocco. The two immediately connected thanks to their U-M apparel.

In 2010, Tomas C. Mijares, ’67, PhD’88, and his cousin, Ramon, visited Corregidor Island in the Philippines as they retraced the Bataan Death March. Their uncle was a casualty of the brutal conditions at Camp O’Donnell.

In January 2017, college sweethearts Cathy Cantor, '73, and David Cantor, '74, celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary with their children: Lauren Cantor Bar-Lev, ’03, MD’07; Benjy Bar-Lev, Robert Cantor, ’05; Allison Cantor; Alyssa Cantor Kalisky, ’10, JD’13; and Josh Kalisky, ’11, in Maui, Hawaii. Future wolverines, Sammie and Jake Bar-Lev, were also there to celebrate.

Barry G. Waldman, '93, explored the Prince's Palace of Monaco with wife Elain, son David, and daughter Rebecca, all huge Michigan fans. They drove across France and even ascended via cable car to the top of Mont Blanc in Chamonix, the tallest mountain in the Alps.
