Could there be a new approach to target a form of prostate cancer? A study from the University of Michigan Rogel Cancer Center uncovers a new way to treat a deadly form of prostate cancer using tissue and cell models using LSD1, an amino acid protein. Joshi Alumkal, M.D., Wicha Family Professor of Oncology, discusses a protein involved in turning genes off and on in normal cancer cells to help differentiate cells.
