A new landscape map co-created and analyzed by U-M’s Poverty Solutions provides insight into what counties in Michigan are especially affected by the opioid epidemic. Chad Brummett, co-director of both the Opioid Prescribing Engagement Network (OPEN) and the U-M Opioid Research Institute, is hopeful that this map will aid treatment organizations in directing their resources on the counties that need them most.
