Why are Americans crossing state lines to receive adequate health care? Americans with neurological conditions travel great distances for care, and some are having a harder time depending on their circumstances. Researchers at Michigan Medicine explored data from different beneficiaries and found that some travel more than 50 miles to get the right care, as well as sometimes crossing state lines.
