The Ford School’s 2025 Martin Luther King, Jr. Day speaker is renowned jazz musician Etienne Charles, creator of the “Earth Tones” project, which highlights the impacts of climate change on vulnerable communities around the world. During his visit, Charles will share insights from his musical research, explore the intersection of music and culture, discuss how climate change disproportionately affects underprivileged communities, and propose common solutions to this global threat.

This event is free and open to the public. Attend in person or virtually via live stream (registration for the event is required).
