Child Care Centers Aren’t A Likely Source Of COVID-19 Spread

Cue sighs of relief from parents everywhere. New research published by Michigan Medicine shows that transmission rates of SARS-CoV-2 within childcare centers and among households with kids attending childcare centers are significantly low, indicating that children and caregivers were not spreading COVID at exorbitant rates to others in the centers. Still, infectious disease experts recommend children attending daycare and school get vaccinated for COVID-19 to maintain these low rates.
