A researcher is creating a movement to understand how exposures to toxic metals, industrial pollution, and “forever chemicals,” called PFAS, impact the health and cancer risk of residents across Michigan. A professor of epidemiology from the School of Public Health and co-lead of Rogel’s cancer control and population sciences program discusses the project, including how much of a problem environmental exposures are, environmental injustice hotspots, and more.
