Bacteria are found in nearly every biome on the planet and are key components in many fundamental processes, but we still don’t know how bacteria cells organize themselves before division. Researchers from the University of Michigan hope to answer this question, and Anthony Vecchiarelli, Ph.D., explores his team’s findings.
