After one makes the difficult decision to receive care for a mental health issue, they could likely be rejected by insurance, encounter time constraints on appointment availability, and face other barriers. Currently, the nation doesn’t have enough mental health care specialists to meet the rising need for this care due to a shortage of specialists.
