Join the Judy and Stanley Frankel Detroit Observatory as they feature U-M faculty expert Karla Goldman for a discussion on the status of Jewish students at Michigan during the 1920s and how President Little, well known as a eugenicist, actually resisted some of the racist and antisemitic assumptions of his time. Professor Goldman is the Sol Drachler Professor of Social Work and professor of Judaic Studies at the University of Michigan, where she also directs the Jewish Communal Leadership Program.

This event is free and open to the public, with in-person and virtual registration options.
