I come from a large family of 11 siblings who are now scattered across the US. We are still fairly close even though we live in distant parts of the country. Thank goodness for technology to help keep us connected!
Currently I am Professor Emeritus in the School for Environment and Sustainability. I taught in the landscape architecture program and also served as the Director of the University’s Matthaei Botanical Gardens and Nichols Arboretum (1999-2020).
I spent one spring teaching at the Technische Universität Wien (Vienna) and fell in love with the region. I am very excited to return to Vienna and Prague and see some of the other places along the Danube as well.
