Can you guess how many undergraduate applications the University received in fiscal year 2017 (which happens to be a record number)? How about the amount of its research expenditures compared with other public universities? These numbers are just two of many in the newly published 2017 annual report, which shows how research, education, and patient care are setting the stage for U-M’s third century. The report also features messages from leadership, annual highlights, major projects, and awards and honors. This list provides just a glimpse of the many impressive numbers from the past fiscal year.
