Before the Michigan Wolverines took on the USC Trojans on Oct. 11, the U-M Club of Los Angeles and the Alumni Association of the University of Michigan held several events in the Los Angeles area.
Among the events, the U-M Club of Los Angeles held a gathering on the iconic Santa Monica Pier the night before the game, and the Alumni Association hosted a tailgate before kickoff.
The game was only the second time U-M played USC at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. The other time was in 1957.
