U-M Ford School of Public Policy associate professor Natasha Pilkauskas discusses how 1 in 10 Child Tax Credit-eligible families have not received their payments, noting uncertainty concerning how and why they were unable to claim the credit. The Child Tax Credit was implemented to provide low and middle income families with financial assistance, aiming to reduce child poverty – which it has by 30%.
