Former Mayor of Chicago Lori Lightfoot is no stranger to challenges, being the first African-American openly gay woman to serve in the role. Lightfoot, also a U-M alumna, sat down for a conversation with Ford School Dean Celeste Watkins-Hayes to discuss the many challenges that she’s faced and overcome during her career in public service and term as mayor.
