About Our Board:
PRESIDENT – Jesse Krugel
Jesse Krugel graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in Film, Television, and Media. After a year and a half as an assistant at WME Independent, he recently started as Coordinator at the newly launched Manifest Pictures. He continues to develop his career and knowledge in film finance and international sales.
VICE PRESIDENT – Kellie Brook Malone
Kellie Brook Malone earned a BA in English Literature from UofM and an MFA in Film/TV Production from CUNY-Brooklyn College. Her last short film was distributed by Focus Features and could be seen on JetBlue Airlines. She is a creative producer who has worked in music, theatre, film, and television for many years. In addition, she serves as the Assistant Director of Talent Development for the USC School of Cinematic Arts.
SECRETARY – Claire de Vries
Claire de Vries studied Film, Television, and Media at the University of Michigan. She has experience in development and production across film and television, including serving as President of M-agination Films and interning in Drama Development at HBO Max. She currently works at Amazon Studios & Prime Video as a Creative Assistant on the Tentpole, Universe, and Genre Development team.
TREASURER – Jacob Kernis
Jacob Kernis graduated from the University of Michigan with BAs in Film and Economics. From New Jersey, he is a writer, director, and producer who aims to create feature films and television. He currently works as an assistant at Creative Artists Agency.
