Saturday, Oct. 10, 8:00 a.m. – The U of M Club of Sarasota/Manatee will be be participating in NAMIWalks Sarasota Manatee, hosted at Payne Park (2100 Adams Lane, Sarasota). The family-friendly mental health awareness event is free and open to the public, featuring music, food trucks, nonprofit exhibits, and local entertainment. Funds raised directly support free local peer-led mental health programs. Join our team! More details to follow.

January 2027 (exact date TBD) – Join us at Michigan Mingle! It’s the perfect chance to reconnect with fellow alumni, share your favorite Michigan stories, and relive the magic of being part of the Maize & Blue family.
February 2027 (exact date TBD) – Tour of the Barbara Basch Glass Exhibition at the Larry Thompson Academic Building on the Ringling College of Arts and Design. The tour will be in the morning with lunch to follow at a restaurant nearby. No cost for tour.
Saturday, March 5, 2027 @ 11:30 a.m. – Annual Meeting at Venice Yacht Club featuring Greg Dooley, a professor and college athletics historian at the University of Michigan’s Marsal Family School of Education. He teaches courses on the history of college sports, leadership, and Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL). More details to follow!
Friday, March 19, 2027 @ 6:00 p.m. – A Michigan Night at the Opera featuring the Sarasota Opera’s inaugural production of Gilbert & Sullivan’s H.M.S. Pinafore. Reception beforehand, with the opera starting at 7:30 p.m.
