Mission
Create a strong alumni network for Muslim graduates from the University of Michigan by providing them with opportunities to connect with each other and contribute to the long-term growth of the Muslim Students’ Association.
Structure
The Michigan Muslim Alumni Association (MMAF) primarily serves Muslim Alumni from the University of Michigan. MMAF also works closely with the U-M Muslim Students’ Association (MSA) whose members are current U-M Muslim students. The MSA has a Board of Trustees which is composed of Muslim U-M Alumni as well as community members from Michigan. The Board of Trustees (BOT) oversees both MMAF and the MSA. They serve an advisory role for both organizations and promote their long-term growth. All these groups, MSA, MMAF and the Board of Trustees, have overlapping executive boards to ensure the alignment of their purposes.
