We have a long history of providing outstanding programming for Lansing area alumni, including activities such as our annual fall Kickoff Reception, wine-tasting parties, Lugnuts summer outings, community service projects, road trips to U-M basketball and hockey games, summer family picnics, gourmet dinners, beer-tasting parties, Big House tours, and family pumpkin-picking and hayrides in the fall
The club has a strong commitment to increasing the number of Lansing area students who apply to and attend the University of Michigan. Each year the club awards a $1,000 scholarship to a graduating senior from 12 area high schools to use upon their enrollment at Michigan. These scholarship winners are recognized at an annual scholarship reception each spring. Finally, we host an annual sendoff picnic each August to say farewell and good luck to our area students who will be freshmen at Michigan in the fall.
It is our goal to offer events that appeal to all of our membership, and we always welcome suggestions for future events.
