U-M Association of Jewish Alumni

Welcome to the University of Michigan Association of Jewish Alumni (UMAJA), the association of Jewish graduates of the University of Michigan. UMAJA is one of several affiliate organizations of the Alumni Association of the University of Michigan. Originally established in 2008 and relaunched in 2026, it comprises interested individuals and members of the broader University of Michigan Jewish community.

Through various social, spiritual, and community-based events, our goal is to bring together Jewish Michigan alumni across the U.S. and the world and keep the connection between alumni strong. Active members promote the University in their communities, encourage outstanding students to attend the University, and promote the interests of the Jewish community within the University, including the Alumni Association. UMAJA is managed by an elected executive committee and governing board comprised of dedicated Jewish Michigan alumni.
