IMG_3709.jpg President:  Alan Ulrich
Class: 2007
School/Major: Alfred A. Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning
Major: Bachelor of Science in Architecture
About Myself: I was born in Ann Arbor, MI and grew up in Alma, MI. Following graduation I relocated to Indianapolis in 2007 to begin working at the A/E firm BSA Lifestructures. I left the firm in the fall of 2010 to get my Master’s of Architecture from Ball State University, and then returned to BSA in the spring of 2011 where I have remained since. I currently live on the Northeast side of town with my wife Hilary (U.M. grad, 2006) and son Nolan (future U.M. class of 2034).
Favorite Michigan Memory: I was a member of the University of Michigan varsity baseball team, so many of my favorite Michigan memories were spent on the field at Ray Fisher Stadium. However, my all-time favorite football memory was when Michigan beat MSU in 2004 in triple-overtime 45-37. The atmosphere at the stadium was electric that night, and the loudest I have ever heard the stadium. HAIL!

About Myself: I was born in Swartz Creek, MI and headed to Ann Arbor for school in the fall of 2000.  I got my degree in Psychology while taking pre-med classes before graduating and heading west to California for medical school.  In 2010 I returned to the midwest to begin pediatric residency at Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis where I later accepted my current position as a Pediatric Hospitalist.  Currently, I live in Carmel with my beautiful wife Rachel and our son Dexdon.  I am often heard cheering on our wolverines with my Cowbell along side POTUS chanting the fight song.  GO BLUE!
Favorite Michigan Memory: Being one of the original creators of the cowbell use during football games…seriously ask people. <– Thanks for that contribution Pete

Truely my favorite memory at Michigan was getting to rush the field after beating OSU on our way the the Rose Bowl my senior year.  We were covered in roses, surrounded by all of our friends and sad OSU fans, with beautiful weather in November.  You couldn’t ask for a better last game as a student!

About Myself: I was born and raised in Erie, PA. Although not a Michigan native, I knew from my first campus visit that U-M was the perfect fit and my heart was set on being a Wolverine! After graduation, I joined The Dow Chemical Company in Midland, MI as a project manager specializing in Site Logistics in the manufacturing operations.  In 2012, I moved to Indianapolis with Dow AgroSciences, where I have held various roles in supply chain project management and production planning.

Community Service Committee Chair:  Trent Montemayor
Class: 2007
School/Major: College of Engineering – Civil & Environmental Engineering
Degree: Bachelor of Science in Engineering – Civil Engineering
About Myself: Born and raised in Ann Arbor my biggest goal as a kid growing up was to attend the University of Michigan and count myself as an alumni of our storied university.  After staying to my roots and working for several years in Ann Arbor after graduation, I moved to Indianapolis in 2011 to reinvigorate my career with Greeley and Hansen while staying true to my passion of ensuring clean water for the communities I live and work in.  I currently reside in downtown Indianapolis while continuing my work for G&H and those who know me best know I never EVER miss a Michigan football or basketball game.
Favorite Michigan Memory: The one that will always stick out in my mind is watching the Michigan-Washington State Rose Bowl with my family as a kid sitting on the floor in front of my parent’s TV.  During my time there it was definitely the 2006 football season (though it ended in disappointment) and most notably road tripping to the Michigan-Penn State game in Happy Valley when Michigan’s defense dominated Penn State’s offense the entire game.

Erin Baird Scholarship Committee Chair:  Erin Baird
Class: 2000
School/Major: College of Literature, Science, and the Arts
Degree: Bachelor of Science in Marine Geology and Geochemistry
About Myself: I am originally from Chelsea, MI, a small town just outside of Ann Arbor. After graduating from U-M, I worked for the University for a short time before deciding to pursue a second degree in Therapeutic Recreation at Eastern Michigan. In 2006 I moved to Breckenridge, Colorado, where I worked for the Breckenridge Outdoor Education Center, a nonprofit that provides outdoor learning experiences for people of all abilities. I relocated to Indy in 2012 and now work for the Indiana Wildlife Federation, a statewide nonprofit organization focused on wildlife and habitat conservation. I’m a third generation wolverine who’s very excited to be back within a short driving distance of Ann Arbor!
Favorite Michigan Memory: One memory that I will never forget is making the trip to Pasadena for the 1998 Rose Bowl game against Washington State. Great trip, great Michigan memories!

Programming Committee Chair:  Shinji “Tak” Takahashi
Class: 1987
School/Major: College of Literature, Science, and the Arts / Japanese Literature
Degree: Bachelors Degree
About Myself: After working in Tokyo’s F/X and equity markets for 12 years after graduation, I decided to decompress and move my family (spouse, son and two daughters) to Orange County, CA.  A change in environment and career to a Sales & Marketing position in the manufacturing sector was a breath of fresh air. In 2011, a company transfer brought our family to Carmel, so I could finally bring everyone to experience game day at the Big House.
Favorite Michigan Memory: When Nelson Mandela was bestowed an Honorary Degree in absentia at my commencement ceremony.
