The U-M Club of Atlanta is supported by a group of all-volunteer staff who are on the Board of Directors. In turn, our Board programs engagement events in our area for the 5000+ Michigan Alumni on our email list to gather and connect with one another and to connect back to Michigan.
Our Board is looking to recruit new volunteers that would meet quarterly to plan and execute 12-15 events per year. The only prerequisite we ask is that you have an unwavering passion for the University of Michigan!
More specifically, we’re looking for local alums who meet one or more of the following criteria:
- Interested in meeting, engaging and working with a diverse group of local U-M alumni.
- Interested in planning, coordinating and attending local events.
- Has some free time on evenings and/or weekends to volunteer in one or more of the capacities listed below.
- Still feels strong ties to the University of Michigan.
- Interested in feeling a strong sense of worth and accomplishment by engaging with and giving back to the greater U-M community.
