In his new book, Andy Hoffman, a University of Michigan professor with roles in both the School for Environment and Sustainability and the Ross School of Business, argues that climate change and inequality are system breakdowns caused by capitalism. He asserts that business schools must adjust their curricula to steer the power of business toward solving society’s problems. Drawing on 30 years of teaching experience, Hoffman concludes that business students want to change the system to work better for everyone—they just need the tools to do so.
