Wondering what student dishes, dorms, diners, and dances looked like centuries ago at U-M? Visit The Journey in a Day: 200 Years of Student Life at the University of Michigan, 1817-2017. Here is a sneak slideshow preview, but check it out before it closes on Oct. 22, 2017. Located in the Museum on Main Street, at 500 N. Main St., it is free and open to the public. What’s more, it is designed by U-M students who participated in a history of art class in collaboration with the U-M Bicentennial Office and the Washtenaw County Historical Society.
