Irma M. Wyman, ’49, HDENG’07

Among the first women accepted into U-M’s College of Engineering, Wyman went on to join a startup in Boston that was bought by Honeywell and became vice president in 1982. A few months after retiring in 1990, she followed through on a decades-old calling and became the first archdeacon for the Episcopal Diocese of Minnesota.
