Vinology is a chic, high-ceilinged wine bar with exposed-brick walls, booth seating, and wine-inspired art pieces throughout. It was founded in 2007 by John and Kristin Jonna, who spent many years in fine-wine retail and high-end catering.
Vinology offers 150 wines with an extensive by-the-glass list, a full bar, and specialty cocktails. The menu is a seasonal rotation of wine-friendly world cuisine by chef Alex Young.
Happy Hour is Monday–Friday, 4–6 p.m., with wood-fired pizzas, 1/2 off wines by the glass, specials on Zura Sangria, and bartender’s choice cocktails at their sleek Main St. bar.
Vinology also has four private dining rooms that can hold up to 60 guests and offers buy-outs for larger parties. Off-site catering for lunch, brunch, dinner, and tailgates is also available.
Alumni Association members can get a complimentary dessert or cheese course when dining at Vinology (some exceptions apply; see server for details).
